This policy is a template. Review it before you rely on it, and have a lawyer check it if you take payments or show ads.

Clicks
A counted click stores a hashed visitor id, the day, and the project. The hash is built from the IP address, the browser string, and a secret salt. The raw IP address is not saved. The same visitor can add at most one counted click per project per UTC day. Requests that look like bots, headless browsers, prefetch, or preview are not counted.
Public pages do not include visitor hashes, maker email addresses, or payment ids.
Accounts
Sign-in uses Supabase. The account holds the email address you use to sign in, with Google or an email link. Public pages do not show that email. Listing copy (the name, tagline, description, logo, and screenshot) is what you confirm before publish, and email addresses are stripped from that copy.
Payments
Boost payments are processed by Stripe. BuildShipper does not store your card number. A successful payment can start a boost. Public pages do not show Stripe payment ids.
Weekly list
The weekly top list is optional and separate from listing a project. If you ask for it, BuildShipper stores your email, the time you agreed, where you signed up, and a confirmation time after you click the link in the confirmation message. You can unsubscribe in one click from any message. Until you confirm, the address stays pending and does not receive the list.
Advertising
When a publisher id is configured, BuildShipper may show Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies to serve and measure those ads. Read How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites.
With no publisher id, the board shows empty ad placeholders and does not load Google advertising scripts.
